Your proof book
Your Divö camera is only as reliable as the card it records onto. A standard memory card is not built for the continuous write cycles of dashcam recording and will fail faster than you expect, usually at the worst possible moment. Divö high-endurance memory cards are rated Class 10, U3, and V30, built specifically for continuous video recording, and available in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. Pick the right size, format it in your camera, and forget about it.
FAQs
Please read our FAQs page to find out
Is a memory card included with my Divö camera?
We recommend installing a Divö Class 10 re-writable and high-endurance memory card at the same time as your camera so everything is ready from day one.
What size memory card should I get and how long is my footage stored before it over writes itself? How do I increase this time?
It depends entirely on the size of your memory card. On a 64GB card, roughly 8 hours of Full HD footage before the oldest files start being overwritten. On a 128GB card, that extends to around 16 hours. On a 256GB card, this extends to around 3 days. These durations are standard market guidelines and the reality of recordings may vary as per number of channels and other reasons.

How often should I format my memory card?
Once a month. Formatting takes under 30 seconds and prevents file structure errors that can cause recording failures or corrupted footage. Always format the card in the camera itself, not on a computer, and back up any footage you want to keep before formatting as the process clears everything on the card.
Does using a non-recommended memory card affect my warranty?
Yes, it can. Divö cameras are optimised for Class 10, U3, V30 rated high-endurance memory cards. You do not have to use a Divö branded card specifically, and any reputable third party memory card meeting the same Class 10, U3, V30 specification will work perfectly well. What matters is the rating, not the brand. However, using a standard or low-grade card that does not meet these specifications can cause recording errors, corrupted footage, file system failures, and in some cases can affect the performance and long-term reliability of the camera itself. If a warranty claim is raised and our team finds during inspection that a non-recommended memory card was in use at the time of the issue, this may be taken into consideration during the assessment and could affect the outcome of the claim. To protect both your footage and your warranty, always use a card that meets the minimum specifications listed in your product manual
